When I try to remove virus it's says not supported. But with with NAND init mode P1-1 mode i can read info and read file. But that firmware also indetify by CM2 as a bad or corrupted file. I will post here all logs. Check what we can do...

All operation using NAND P1-1 and without it cant get success

NAND Flash not supported yet!

Then I tried to flash it with factory file. But when I gonna select scatter I cant see it using firmware open window. Like another file type it cant see through that.

When I select that i red firmware from this phone it said....

Quote:
Unsupported Yet( or bad ) file selected!
I have few questions

1. If can read firmware why we cant remove virus?

2. Why cant see factory firmware scatter file through firmware window of CM2?
3. Firmware read success. But cant use it. Why?

4. Look like there is no EMMC. Just NAND. How can effect it to our flashing and other operations?

Sorry for long thread. But If you can please explain these shortly. I don't wanna miss anything that we can do using CM2

Hello.
CM2 can format, read FW and repair security.
Also it can read NVM, reset privacy lock and read patternlock.
Rest function will be, when we finish them.
FW read is factory. That mean you can use it with SPFT.

I am not sure is this answer what I asked. And what is the reason that you didn't note here about "Firmware writing"?
You are correct about firmware reading. Because this red file can load perfectly to SPFT. But I have more bad experience flashing with SPFT. I am always try to flash with CM2. Because it's check firmware compatibility before flashing. So if you didn't care about "Firmware writing" as I think it's so important as like reading. I dont need flash with SPFT when I have CM2

We are working on much different things and try add all, what need. But all is take time. NAND flashing will be enabled in some of near releases. Before 1.5x line.

ok.... further more with EMMC it's good. Some phones.... like lenovo cannot flash with SPFT due to diffrent hardware versions. Sometime with SPFT goes dead and very hard to turn on with firmware it needs. But if we can flash with every phone with CM2 sound good and 100% safe from gone dead
