cant i use old box infinity box to use cm2 software

sorry to know about.
from the look of it, seems like you don't have active support. you may wan to renew it, and then proceed to activate modules after dongle upgrade.

You can renew support (and activate new software) for any Infinity-Box, even for box released in year 2005.
How to renew support and use latest software updates, CM2 etc.:

If you have credits at your IOS account:
- login to your IOS account - https://www.infinity-box.com/service/
- go to `Products` menu
- select `Infinity-Box/Dongle 1 year Updates/Support Renew`
- enter your S/N

If you do not have credits at your IOS account:
- contact to your seller - https://www.infinity-box.com/buy/

You mean if dongle expired since 2015, the person can renew it and begin use it. Or for example let assume that I bought cm2 dongle in 2015 and since then I didn't renew support until 2019, am I going to buy 4 years renewal before it can work or just buying one year and it will work.
