I have this tecno n5s qualcomm with no imei and baseband unknown how to repair?. someone suggested flash stock rom but PHONE HAS THIS VERSION: MSM8909__Tecno__Tecno__ANDR_v5.1.1__TECNO_N5S__msm 8909__N5S__N5S-QL610-L-KE-SAFARICOM-20151018. BUT ALL I CAN FIND IS LOWER VERSION WILL BE OK TO FLASH IT WILL NO BRICK ? WILL IT BE ABLE TO FIX THE BASEBAND PROBLEM? CANT FIND SAME VERSION AS IN THE PHONE.

problem solved i flashed with this firmware ([romshillzz] N5S-QL610-MB-L-20150820) and repair imei whith cm2:

Infinity-Box Chinese Miracle Qualcomm Module [QLM] v 1.16

Operation : Write Security [ v1.16 ]

1. Enable DiagInterface on device [ by Code, Root or other way ]
2. Make sure DiagDrivers installed and work correct

Wait for phone...
Device Found!
Initialize ...
DiagMode initialized!

MSMHW : 00009601
MODHW : 0000100C
BUILD : 8909_r01135.2_20150720
RTIME : Aug 20 201518:50:46
BTIME : Jul 13 201508:00:00
DEVST : 8909.gen

Update IMEI[1] : 359616046229779
Record update Ok!

Write done! Reboot device, if it not restart!
Hint : QCN write and Factory Reset is required to finish process completely!

Done!
Elapsed: 00:00:05

Reconnect Power/Cable!

how did you repair imei using cm2? i have tried inferno and miracle unsuccessfully. kindly help got same problem here

as the soft say: 1. Enable DiagInterface on device [ by Code, Root or other way ]
2. Make sure DiagDrivers installed and work correct

you need to root your phone firsi use iroot or kingo for root then enable diagport look at the soft you will find diag enable button and only then you will be able to repair imei
