Tracfone C139 Problem - GSM-Forum

I tried using repair module on C139 Tracfone but when I tried to flash using Moto01 ver 1.39 got this error

test with real com port (com1 or com2)

hi man try to read infinity box doc. man
u will see that u must set your port setting
from 16 : 4

hello!
what tutorial? this is very easy.

3 ways to do this:
1. old software versions: just do needed procedures
2. new software version: cut test point- and then do needed procedures
3. newest PCB which is hiding test point under CPU- remove CPU with hot air, reball CPU, do not set ball to leg NI, solder CPU back and make all operation like it is with cutted track

So, if you cant connect with phone in normal way- cut track, if you cant find this track according picture- this means it is new PCB and you need to remove ball. thats it

hello!

here is a picture of 2 different hardware configuration of motorola C139:

as you can see on right image track which is marked by RED colur goes stright under CPU. This is new type PCB, where cutting test point will not help. You need to desolder CPU and remove ball "N1" marked by BLUE colur. Left image is old PCB, you can detect it be red track which makes "Z" before hide under CPU. This is a old type. To get communication with it you need to cut test point (marked by X)

ok here's the recap to make it as straight and simple as possible...

Here's what to look to know if it is the old PCB..if the tracks look like this..just cut the FOIL mark with RED X..then you can connect..

For new PCB like this...you need to removed CPU, then removed ball N1 and put the CPU back..

Hope this helps..

BTW Infinity Team..I lost my keypad function and got insert SIM doing this modification..but I can still power my phone..
