Thanks for the reply. When I try to unlock agian and programme asks to 'power on phone'. I press power on button but nothing happens, no matter how many time I press the power button. when I try to flash with Winmodo it stays on 'signalling' , when I press power button it has no effect. So now phone does not connect to either X70 unlock software or Winmodo . I hope this helps. thanks once again for your help. ps. I tried posting the reply yesterday but all the time 'server too busy' br msa

Member: 128745 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16,936 | @msa We analysed your log posted in the above posts, and we conclude the battery was over while unlocking your phone, there can be no other way the phone might have died. The latest version of X70 software has no problems with any versions Best Regards Infinity-Box Team |

Not wishing to argue with you, but I specially made sure the battery was fully charged before I started the unlock process. I even told the customer to come back next day as I wanted to make sure the battery was fully charged. There is no way the battery went flat. So it seems there is no way of reviving the phone . This is the first time in 4 years of my GSM business that I have killed a phone (only ever damaged one Siemens before which went wrong while unlocking, but was able to revive), I know fully well how temperamental Panasonic phones can be, so allways made doubly sure everything was correctly done before I started unlocking process. Can you expalin one thing. this phone was V32. when I tried to unlock previosly with software V1.04 it told me its not supported, look at this thread http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=202283 you told me to flash the phone before unlocking and it all worked Ok. But with V1.05 it did not stop to tell me that I need to flash the phone, but instead it carried on unlocking and came up with error in middle as it shows in my log above. do you still think the battery power is at fault?. br msa

Member: 128745 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 16,936 | @ msa I respect your expirence As you see the older versions did not support A32 and that is why our software did not unlock A32 versions , The new version supports A32, and works perfect, many users have unlocked A32 with no problems . Best Regards Infinity-Box Team |

Member: 130995 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 35,227 | @ msa Also, small addition about your problem. Really, we don't want to see "we are the best over the World, we don't make mistakes". Yes, as any other people, we can make mistakes. And if we make mistakes we say about this to our customers. Just see threads "dead phone repair" created by us. But in this situation (your X70 A32 Intel, sw v1.05), we don't think that it was our fault (really, so many the same HW/SW phones was unlocked w/o problems). I can imagine another reason in this situation: partially damaged (HW) flash chip in your x70. If you have 4-years experience, I think you can agree with me that this can take place. Situation: phone works good before, but after flashing it can't work (or even can't be flashed completely). Did you ever see this situation ? I think yes. We can only suppose this situation, but can't be sure 100%. Maybe other reasons can be, but can't imagine right now. As about dead phone. How to make it alive: If phone can't connect to Winmodo or our software now, then BootCode erased in phone. Two ways to repair it, but both really not easy. 1. Desolder flash and write flash-chip directly with image from good phone (better don't erase/write full flash chip, but only some parts. If you will be interested in details - you are welcome by PM. 2. The same operation, but with JTAG. The same procedure (flash-chip programminig). B.R. InfinitySupport |

Member: 17424 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 15 | Thank you for your help and support. I am fully aware the risk one takes when unlocking such phones. I am not blaming enyone but my self as I took the decision to unlock so I have to sort this out. Unfortunatley what ever the cause it did not work for this time, yet it has worked for me in the past. One live and learn, I will put this down as experiance and move on to next venture . thanks br msa |
