UTstarcom GPRS779 dead after unlock.
Hi, unlock completed fine, but phone go off. I flashed with 2 firmware in support without result.

After unlock phone show UTstarcom logo and go off, but after flash phone not power, dont show nothing on lcd, only connect.

I think GPRS779 problem is with flash type.

Celhack's phones is 'flash: Amd PL256N D 16Mb' and allways problem with unlock, but in THIS post a user unlocked successfully a GPRS779 but with flash 'flash: Amd S29PL129J,S71PL129JC0,S71PL129JB0,S71PL129JA0 T 8Mb'

I have also a GPRS779 dead after unlock, but recovered with eeprom_calibration-2 backup file, phone remains locked but ALIVE

My two cents....

I had the same problem a couple of months ago, after i flashed the phone it never turned back on, i still have it with me to make any necessary test, luck

my other phone is killed, But I read flash first. @infinity support with this file can we repair my 2 phones?
