v170 tracfone 9.1.28 converted , but no signal.
 

i flashed with V172:
v172_5.7.19_Main.20M
V172_5.7.19_Flex_90_61_2T03.20F
V172_5.7.19_LPLA_Es_Pt.20P

Replacing resistor, until band selection become 900.1800 Mhz.
Jumper the filter.

But still no Service.

Is this fault has something to do with software ? Flex file ??
Or i have ****n the CPU while removing N1 testpoint ??

Try to flash it with V171 v4.x.x files set, I think this may helps.

is the display will be ok??
because i flashed this phone using v172 to repair bad display.

and one more thing.
after removing test point do i have to put it back (N1) ??
Because i have done 2 pphones c 139, new type from trcfone, after flash and unlock done, the phone lose opening screen.
After i press ON button, there is no opening screen from MOTOROLA, and it shows Insert Card only, without light. After i pressed another button, light came up, and phone can still be used as normal phone after that.

LCD: you need to test it
N1: best way: restore ball

RESULT : after flash with firmware v171 4..x..x , ( any version of it ), signal is GOOD. But display is BAD.
Any other firmaware to get my display back ?

hmm.... that will be exppensive .
i guess is better if im waiting for new firmware ( if possible ?)

no different, ipmart sell them, better take good lcd out of broken v170 with bad board or so.

I just found the solution for bad display after flashing the phone w 4.7.19 firmware, lang, and flex.

All you have to do is just flash the phone w/ v172_5.7.19_Main.20M only. Then post the result. Don't flash the phone w lang and flex file coz it will erase the 4.7.19 lang and flex file from phone that will result to no network or bad display.;)
