w220 Change Band 850/1900 to 900/1800 ????

Hi

i wanted to find out if anybody has a solution to convert the Bands on the Motorola W220 from 850/1900 to 900/1800 or vice versa.

i read a post from infinity team suggesting that you should try to flex it, has anybody or Infinity Team tested this theory and if so can you please give us some feedback.

Thanks
reo

Hello,

You can easilt yry to make this test by yourself.
1. make flash and eeprom backup for emergency case
2. use different flash files from support area and write in phone

Hello guys, Im new in this forum. Im from Mexico, and the band used here is 1900 (TELCEL). Im intended to buy Nokia 8910 (900/1800), and I really would like to know if there is a way to change it to 1900 band, because Im in a hurry to make a decision of buying. Can anyone tell me if that is just possible or is a sure thing? How can I upograde the software? by bluetooth? Thanks.
