newgen c1000 cant read phonecode - GSM-Forum

hi,
i have a newgen c1000 password locked, i tried to unlock with modified cable in test mode after reading imei it stops at cant read phone code,i tried to dor reset phone went dead and i had to write eeprom backup to fix it to orginal locked condition.
am i doing something wrong.

Hello,

To reset user code you can use \"repair ffs\" file from support area.

Are you sure that you tried to write "repair ffs" file from support area ?

phone is dead when i write file from support site, i had to uncheck compatibality to write the file earlier it was not written, i am reviving it back with backup file.

Hello,

Try to make "reset settings".
After this operation press and hold phone "power" button long time to make phone powered-on

sorry guys, now phone is not showing network, imei is 000000 i corrected imei but still no service and i cannot write calibration back up file, any way to fix this.

to repair imei it's need to write back "eeprom" file.

can u specify which files to write,i tried many times without sucess ,imei is getting repaired,but cant write calibration file it stops after erase.the phone goes dead if i write ffs file from support,
