Box CAN'T be damaged during write/read/unlock (and other) operations (not important is it operations with Chinese or European or American models).

Box CAN be damaged in the next cases:
1. you use wrong cables
2. you apply external voltage to box pins
3. you shortcut box Gnd and +V pins (pin 1 and pins 7-8).
4. other type of similar user's activity (f.e. connect 220v to box, use external power supply with high voltage etc. etc.)
There is no any warranty for box damaged due to reasons 1. - 4. because all this damages can be done only by user's mistake and we take no responsibility for this kind of user's mistakes.

As a result: you must always think when you connect something to box.

but sir i mentioned in m y first post that this happen during reading flash of the phone. I use phone battery no external supply & use JTAG cable wich has only RX TX & GND cable so there is also no chance to shorten box GND to V+. & also no matter abt using wrong cable
Thanks

hello!
personally I- used box on many phones where i had to find pinout (random connecting rx, tx to phone pins) , but i never burn anything.
this is very strange that your box die in the middle of flashing...
anyway, it can be easy repaired by replacing FTDI ic inside box

hello!

i repeat, by normal use of infinity this IC will not burn out.

possible faults:
1. you use wrong cables
2. you apply external voltage to box pins
3. you shortcut box Gnd and +V pins (pin 1 and pins 7-8).
4. other type of similar user's activity (f.e. connect 220v to box, use external power supply with high voltage etc. etc.)

There is no any warranty for box damaged due to reasons 1. - 4. because all this damages can be done only by user's mistake and we take no responsibility for this kind of user's mistakes.
