Will the infinity box unlock a Cingular C139??

I need to unlock Cingular C139's with S/W V1.9.24 I purchased the Smart-Clip for the job, but it won't work. I ned to know if the Infinity box will unlock it. Anyone here know???

some c139 can be unlocked ordinary way (w/o open), some of them must be opened and special track cutted, some of them (latest) must be opened, CPU desoldered and then unlocked.
You can get more info if you will search about "C139 8.8.17"

I have 5 C139 v1.9.24 by cingular. Can your tool unlock it? I have tried cutting the track and the phone still turn on. Do you gurantee that when we successfully cut the track and flash it, it will connect to the infinity box? Please I am awaiting your speedy response.

Oh one more thing, how do we know the difference of the tracfone (latest) 8.8.17 and the old 8.8.17? I have killed phone thinking it was the normal 8.8.17 and cut the track now the phone still wont connect and now it's dead!! I don't have the heat gun to take off cpu. Please reply soon. Thanks

hello!

i think you porblem is not new type PCB, but faulty cable.
please check panasonic G50 cable in cable selector.
picture 2 and 3 is examples how you need to modify cable to make it fit in phone better. Please modify your cable this way. Try to push and hold it inside phone while you connect it with soft. Also, are you sure that you selecting right comport? Have you tried to modify latency value how it is discribed in
C:\Program Files\InfinityBox\Moto01\Documentation

If you cut test point and phone stoppped to work- this means you did all right, no need to remove Ball from leg N1. Just use "cutted track" option in program and flash phone

i got one of those cingular too and cant be connected even if i try with other devices, i there any solution for this version, should i try cut trac like tracfone version please give me answer, and by the way is not the cable i try with one cable and with another that i just bought a new one

Cingular's C139 FW: 1.9.24 can't be unlocked, trust me isn't cable problem or bad TP, I unlocked to many C139 normal and via TP and always fine.

It's the same as Trackfone with FW: 8.8.17, when you cut the track the phone still turn ON and can't connect with the Box.

I think CPU desoldered is needed.

i know im not an expert and i never claim to be, but thanks for the comment.

i know the above method doesnt make any sense, because the phone has to boot before being unlocked or flashed.

i just post it because a few people mentioned it works on cingular c139.

I have opened 2 C139 Motorola Trackfone SW: 8.8.17 and Cingular SW: 1.9.24 - Basically I have ruined it to see the inside. I found out that it is not easy to Cut Track - remove the CPU is even harder. It is total different from the video in youtube - To me without special tools then it is the impossible to do the job. Can you recommend where I may get the tools to use with Infinity Box to Unlock C139.

Have you tried to remove the C139 CPU - Yes, I did. It is impossible. Why don't you try one and see.

InfinitySupport and Infinity Help stated that: Cut Track, Remove CPU, Resolder Track, Reballing . . . Infinitysupport, Infinityhelp please provide some link so that we can get the tools to do the job. The CPU removing is already an impossible job - I tried it. Resolder balls . . . the space is about 0.6mm for Cut Track and Resoldering. Where do we get the tools to do this job. $15,000 Laser Solder Machine ? ? ?

InfinitySupport, InfinityHelp you have done the job. Can you please provide some link so that we can buy the "Special Tools to do the job?

to unlock cingular version just choose method 4, pretty easy. tracfone ones only by cutting track or removing ball. i have done this with out removing cpu but theres a big chance the phone would have problems like no vision or ni backlight.

In fact it's not easy work and for many people is much more easy to return phone to customer than make this kind of job. It's need to have good hardware repair knowledges to unlock phones by this method.
As about tools: at least you need to have good microscope and BGA soldering station. Can't give you any link because my own BGA soldering skills is not so good (main work is in little bit other fields), hope somebody can post some links here.
