Hello !

It's normal situation.
After you flash new firmware in any of these models: X100, A200, G60, X500, at first power-on try phone have to rebuild some internal data. And you will see this message: "Formatting FMGR"
This process can takes several minutes.
After this procedure complete, your phone will start normally.
So, don't worry, just wait 1-2 minutes and then your phone will be Ok.

Hello !

Hm... Strange...
1. How long time you already see this message ?
2. Try to remove battery and power on phone again. Do you see this message again ?
3. Try to write other Flex file. What is the results ?
4. What do you mean "dead phone" ?
What is this phone history ?

X500...formatting FMGR.....

I saw this message for about 2 munites, then phone display gets blank and power off. I tried all the flash files in available in the website.
Even after removing and powering on, i see the same message.
dead phone means...a no power phone.

Hello !

I think that it can be hardware fault too. F.e. defected flash chip. Looks like phone try to rebuild internal data at first power-on-try, but this data damaged even after rebuilding, so phone can't start normally.

Check hardware, please.
