ZTC ZT8380 and autopinfinder


i have a ztc zt 8380 ,
this is my first set after getting my new auto pinfinder ...

when i try to find the pinout of this set with auto pinfinder , i am always getting this error ..

please help me what is the problem ?

I hope you can solve at least 99% of possible problems (especially with 8, 12, 14, 15 pins cables) with this instruction.

i have tried to connect two china mobiles ..
but in both of them i am getting this same error

too many retries ..

i have not opened my infinity box yet ..

hello!

can you check with which cables you getting search error "error too many retries, warning: 2nd answer absent".
and whith which cables you getting normal end like in post above?
you can select cable type as L5A, to make search faster

the phone which i have now is zt8380 in which there is cable type: 2x6 (L12B) connector which i want to connect , and there i am getting this error ..

when i connect the phone ..

what should i do ?

hello!

there could be problem inside you L12B cable.
that is why i asking you to check with other cables (without phone connected)
if they are giving same error or pinout search end normaly ?

i connect it to another pc then it was working ...

then when i connect it to the first pc it also worked there ..

i too donno what was the problem ..

i think it is cable or connectivity problem ..

this error comes when i do use COM PORT 1 or 2 with Infinity ....

i am unable to use COM PORT 1 and 2 with Infinity and auto pin finder .. please help me ..

hello!

you must select com port not based on your wish, but basing on windows device manager.
check which com port took your infinity box- this will be your pinfinder com port

i want to use com port 1 for a selected program to connect a mobile ..

so i connect the auto pinfinder adapter to the second RJ45 socket in my infinity box and connect the infinity box to the COM PORT 1 of my PC .

will it work ?
