ZTE-G R221 Etisalat Nigeria firmware needed for unlock - GSM-Forum

I tried unlocking this phone as 16MB, software showed unlock OK, but its still locked.
I flashed with flash from support ( ZTE-R221_ZTENJ23D_09A_PCB01_GPRS_MT6223_S00.KE-BE-R9DM-P109A17V1_0_0B01_2011-02-28_En_Khmer_Beeline.B0M.bin ), but still locked.

Any other way, or some1 has that firmware?

Hi,
I got the same phone type also from same provider. Everything is same as bad phone.
But the backup phone is network locked
Then I made backup and sent to rd@infinity-box.com and support@infinity-box.biz

Hope you make repair file soon.

try to flash your phone with this firmware from support area:
ZTE-R221_ZTENJ23D_09A_PCB01_GPRS_MT6223_S00.EFS-SFR-R9SM-P109A17V1_0_4B02_2010-10-14_Vn_Viettel-V6202_unlock.B0M.bin

If it will be any problems after flashing:
- flash phone with ZTE-R221_ZTENJ23D_09A_PCB01_GPRS_MT6223_S00.E-ETI-R9DM-P109A17V1_0_0B02_2011-04-01_En_Etisalat-Nigeria.B0M.bin file from support area
- make unlock with "smart fast" unlock method
- post here operation log text for unlock operation

I flashed with the first flash and phone was locked, so I flashed with the 2nd flash and unlocked and phone was unlocked BUT with Invalid IMEI, so I used change IMEI service, and SIM 1 imei is ok Now, but sim 2 Still showing Ivalid IMEI.
Though both sims are making and receiving calls.

Anyway to change imei on Sim 2 ????

Try to select model "Autodetect NOR...", you will see an option for 2nd imei.

hi all and supporters..

i need Greek Lang for this device.. and my flash chip size is 8 MB.. but not exist Gr lang on the support for 8 mb flash chip.. only 16 mb has.. can we convert orj backup with lang editor..? but only 1 lang exist.. only Eng.. i have to write multilang flash file then convert to Gr with lp editor.?

hello!

yes, if your phone has originally only English, then you have to find some suitable firmware with multilang and insert there Greek extracted from 16mb file
