New in support - TFS_Files - GSM-Forum

Hi TST Author,

What is this new folder with TFS files for - I have seen in support as of today.

Im just curious as to how we can use these files, i mean we dont know what firmware to use with them etc... please give us all information as to what these new files are intended for.

hi mate

TFS file is u r phone Tone , Image and Game file

TST TEAM upload in support area the new phone TFS file

just like D51x, D60x, E758, X70x

I know what the TFS is - its a Tiny File System...

I also know what it stores etc.

What I wanted to know was - why has he uploaded unamed TFS files - has he modded them so we can use these with any S/W version?

I tried to flash EXDEK5 to my D600E and it was crashed and a couple of menu icons where messed up - I used the CLA for EXDEK5 and TFS from EXBEK4 as there was no TFS for EXDEK5.

Becuase of problems im now running EXBEK4 again.

So if you can answer what my question was properly then please do so, I would love to find out why he put them there and what we can use them for - as I said - I understand the meaning of TFS and its usage - just not the unamed ones that the author has placed there.

These TFS use for almost firmware.
For example :
D60x_TFS : Mean D600 all firmware version, D608 all firmware version.
E758_TFS : For E758 only.
etc............
Normally flashing do not require flash TFS file. Unbrand need flash both BIN (CLA) and TFS.
