| Z500 Unlocking Fail, plz help ! I just bought the TST dongle and installed latest SW, but I'm having problems to unlock Z500. 1. Installed the Zxxx modem driver with LG USB 8138 cable attached to the Z500, then checked modem port, was set to Port27. I couldn't setup the TST SW to port27. 2. I have PS2 12in1 cable which came with the dongle, which one is for Z500? also have the USB Z105 and Z130 cable but they don't fit into the Z500. Please help. Thank you. |

| Low the comport number of the modem cause it's too high. Ports between 1 to 15 it's the best. Also some kind of information such as couldn't open usbport will be useful. BR |

| at befor eU have to do one thing, go to PROPERTIES of Urs Z500 modem detected com,i mean com27 and change com27 to any com under 10 ... like com7 ,com6 etc then use guidline ,shown in the below thread... [Guide]Unlocking Qualcom phones using TST 100% Urs Z500 will be gets unlock in seconds,if U will do all as said.. thanks Raman |

| ok, I think I know what I did wrong now. First I didn't short the PIN 2 and 3 of the COMPORT, and I left the phone on while connect to USB cable. I'll test it tomorrow and post result. Thanks to LUSKAO and RAMAN. You guys are great. |
