i tried to unlock an gx29 and by mistake (mouse mallfunction) i sellected REPAIR IMEI. now the phone is dead

i need somme advice to repair this phone.

try to flash it like gx25, they are similar models

Does the phone do not powers on at all?

the phone does not power on at all. and he is not connecting anymore in normal mode.
when i put it in flash mode (with nec cable and without battery) he is connecting and disconecting by itself.
please give me an honest answer coz i need to know what to do with my customer.

u need to modify cable just like for unlocking nec e313 series (short pin 8,9,10... something like that ), then connect phone, and u will see that a port will be open in device manager. instal drivers if not already done so. now use a free flasher and flash phone.

Try to initialize FFS with GX25 flasher, probebly it will help. I cant tell you more, couse i have never faced such a problem befor.

that's what i needed to hear from you... coz i flashed phone and my phone is still dead.
SO... THIS GX29 WAS 200606. IT'S GOOD TO KNOW. DON'T WRITE IMEI ON IT!!!

flash your phone with gx15-17 flasher platijet, use gx29 flashes , prgm. ffs, and diag, pm me if problem still exist

can someone upload GX29 flash files for platijiet flasher,
tried to change imei. Now it's restarting byitself.

Or else, is there any other solution pls.

phone will stop restart when you write back original imei.....
but in this state is not possible write original imei using STORM.

i have not more phone to test but just tryed in gx17 after imei change same problem.......to solve i flashed with gx15 flash .....phone stop restart (with key pad prob. )....write back original imei using STORM .......then flashed with last gx17 flash ....all working fine now. .......imei change not supported yet

maybe this metode work with gx29
