6220 dead during upgrade - GSM-Forum

I downloaded the nokia update software, connected the 6220 and it started to update then the software crashed and now no 6220. Is this a trip to the nokia care centre or is there a quicker solution. The nokia software does no even see the phone now and the screen is nothing. When I press the on button it vibrates and the screen kind of lights up black then goes out.

dear try to flash useing v4.13
and it will revive

flash with jaf tahn post resalt if same than post ur flashing logs

ok, thanks for the info, I only have my phone and the original usb cable. Do I need any equipment other than that?

Gave to Nokia care, new handset on the way. You would think their software would be more stable, especially with updates that might go wrong and ruin your phone. I was lucky I backed it up before the update started so I can restore that to the new handset when it arrives.
