6680 FRONT CAMERA = Feature not Supported. - GSM-Forum

Hi Guys,

I ve got a 6680 which gives the ERROR = Feature not Supported. If you try to set on FRONT CAMERA.The back camera is working FINE.I tried to flash it but still the same problem.
Any idea???

i had the same problem!!this is what u must do!first take out your memory card then use this code 2 format> *#7370# make sure your mem is not attached.then after phn resets try it but with out your mem card inside it should work!!!let me know what happens!

first try to format the mmc, if it doesn't work then reset the phone also

i have a some problem i try to flash it but still same problem ...i think in hardware ....?? not software ..any solution i try in hard if i find it i post it good luck..

Good Idea i format my memory card and i put it in my Phone then i format phone camera is good now ...thnx Man

I encountered the same problem with an n70, it seems dat the front camera is pressed to hard by the front housing thats why got hardware error.. usually this happens when use not original housings or the camera frame is dented into the camera.. try and make at least a bit gap between teh fronts camera and the lens cover on the housing..

i have the same problem before .by the way what is the condition of your mobile before that is water damage or no.if not water damage check the pin contact on your camera ic arrange it .if not work try again .if not good re heat the camera ic and omap.

its the problem of OMAP ic.....try to change the ic.....70% chance is that the phone will be ok
