6700 Classic - Brick Recovery Help - GSM-Forum

Hello,

First post here, so please be gentle to the noob. I've got a 6700 classic (RM-470) I wanted to unlock. This has turned from a few minute job into a bricked phone. I'm not going to go through everything I have tried, but it's extensive.

I have a Jaf box, a Shu box (On loan), a PKEY and have tried Jaf/SFI/Phoenix software using both USB and FBUS (7pin fully wired).

It took many hours to get it to take a flash at all and once it had flashed, it wouldn't boot again. It's now at the point that I can get it seen in the flashing software briefly and with a bit of poking, I can even get it to take a flash. However to confirm the flashing process has worked, it wants to reboot the phone into local mode. This doesn't work. The flashing process bombs out. I got the firmware through Navifirm, tried 2 different ID numbers. I followed so many guides for dead usb flashing to no avail.

I'm now officially stuck. I want to get it working again, but without being able to get the phone in local/test mode I doubt this will be possible.

Is there anyway to blind flash? IE no checking, just re-writes entire phone and stops.
