BB5 proto type - Repair solution needed - GSM-Forum

after flashing 6630 i found that phone was proto type

the imei was 0044
after flash changed to 12345610654321?

phone working with contact retaulire

Is there any way to repair the phone with hardware solution ?

i know there is no way with software or i am wrong ?

what method of flashing are you using....
if you can see the option try ui options...full ui defaults,ui factory defaults,
full factory defaults,soft upgrade defaults,,

i used fps10 - jaf - twister - phonix

nothing help proplem wit imei make proplem to start the phone in normal mode

only contact retaulire and now way to format it

you need rpl to made it back the imei,contact retaulire will solve it

mostafa u need full certifecate recovery using ur fps10 .. but u must find some one to calculate ur log file .. from offecial nokia service center .

prototype BB5 phones have empty RAP3G CPU and special patched firmware

when ever you flash prototype phone you will get corrupted imei and security area.
thats normal, unless you flash with prototype firmware which is available only for R&D

right now there is no any solution to refill RAP3G not even by FPS-10 & RPL

the only solution for your phone is to replace RAP3G and NOR flash
from working phone ,same as H/W unlocking method
