Please help!

i have followed the guide in the bb5 reaper on how to update the firmware of my nokia 6630. i did everything right until i came to the part were i clicked "start flashing" and this error came up:

"Flashing failed.
Error occured during the flashing procedure.

Matching adl loader was not found for this device, USB flashing not possible.
HRESULT 0x8401225b (-2080300453)
Flash: E_FPI_NO_LOADER_FOUND"

I tried it many times and the same error came up. Can someone please help me. If it is any help, i am updating the firmware from v 4.03.18 to v 6.050308. Also another question, does the simcard have to be present when flashing. Finally, i am just curious what the software "Diego" is needed for as it says in the bb5 reaper guide.

Put sim card in & try & it should work...

i am unable to download the latest reaper cos it says invalid link

so im using the V1 one

anyways

i need the phonex update download but all links are dead on your software

do you have this part i could have please?

also ive just restarted my pc after running phonex 2006 and it didnt ask me to insert dongle again until the pc restarted, i had to click retry before my pc would bring up my desktop! so in the end i had to press cancell and now phonex will not open at all just asks for dongle, ive run the crack again but it wont fix it, any ideas?

ok sorted now, im on the bit where you click sw update but according to reaper i should select my region but the drop down box is empty

any ideas?

Hey man! Thanks for that!
But everywhere say thats impossible to flash DEAD Nokia 6280!
Is this for real?
My 6280 is from operator "3" UK... use the same load screen show in the BB5 Reaper v2.0.0.1, but still DEAD! Any Ideia???
PLEASE! HELP ! Dead for 2 months!

This is the same error that i get. c'mon someone must know the answer. I tried with and without the sim and got the same result. And by the way xtreme-mobile i hav the same problems u had wen installin etc.. e.g drop down menu is empty, when i restarted my computer i clicked retry before the desktop had even loaded. Maybe the error is linked with these problems.

keep closing down the SW update box and re do it agian eventually you will get the drop down box to work, it took a few attempts to get it though

im still getting the same error but have found this on another forum and im going to try it tonight

this is what i found

"If you get the ADL Loader could not be found error try moving all the ADL files from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\Tss\Flash to C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Flash, then click Start again

worth a try i suppose

just tried using the method above and worked fine, my phone is now lightning fast where as befor it took 30 secs to get into gallery

oh no!!

I think my 6630 is dead. When i turn it on the screen just stays white. An error came up whil i was flashing. Someone please help me!!

Is there anything i can do??

Isn't that only for s40 phones, my 6630 is s60. Does anyone know if the dead flashing can be done to s60 phones. Thanx.
