Can someone help me out here...

I followed the instructions on the BB5 Reaper v2.0.0.1 to install Phoenix 2006
(no need nokia dongle). After final installation of Phoenix 2006, I reboot the PC to take effect the changes.. After restarting the PC, I overwrite the Phoenix.exe and phoenix_framework.dll on its location as instructed on the BB5 reaper. Then RUN the Phoenix program.. After clicking the icon/shortcut on desktop I encountered the 3 errors below. Pressing OK on the 3rd error will load the Phoenix and show LOGIN window. I created a user login then press ok. After pressing OK, nothing happens.. I can only see the main window of the Phoenix and theres nothing there.

It looks to me.. I need to manually register in windows the 3 DLLs mention in the error, but I dont know how to do it.. Can u help me on this? Are there other things I need to do. Am I missing something here..

Thanks!!

Error #1:

Smile Solved!! DLL issue

Thanks!! but no need for help... Was able to find the cause.. the 3 files are missing... I forgot to run the crack Phoenix 2004. After running, Phoenix 2006 is now working... I open and close the Phoenix 2006 and It works.!!! No need for the dongle...!! I connected the DKE-2 cable in my N91 at PC-suite mode, open Phoenix 2006, configure first the connection manager to USB mode... then scan for product.. after scanning.. it can detect the firmware of my N91.. current firmware is V1.10.03. Just flashed it last night..

Thx. Everything worked great except when I tried to download the theme in "S40 3rd Themes". When I push the "download" button it returns to main menu.

Help! Can't get past Phoenix 2004 installation

Thanks for posting this excellent tutorial.

However, I'm having trouble installing Phoenix 2004. The problem is, it never asks me for the DesKey thing where I have to click OK twice for the program to register. Without that, the program won't start up. I've already tried 4 times to do the uninstall, and CC Cleaner method. Anyone got tips to help me going with this install?

It will only work with Windows 2000/XP including Service Pack 1- 4 for Windows 2000 & service pack 1 - 2 for Windows XP

Using it with Service Pack 3 (Unoffical) it will have errors..

I got it all to work. Somehow, on my computer, when I restarted after Phoenix 2004 asked me to, the DESkey screen showed up when it was loading from the desktop. Same with Phoenix 2006 asking for the crack. Don't know if the tutorial was wrong, or if it was my computer.

In any case, I think BB5 reaper V2.x or 3 should have another disclaimer in it.

- Flashing errors in any Series 60 phones will more than likely end up to be a bricked phone. Phone can only be recovered with a dongle.

You can see why I said that because it helps those who are quick to jump the gun on flashing. However, I can say that I did do my research, and it was just unfortunate what happened to my phone.

Anyone know a good place in Chicago, IL where I can take my 6681 to be repaired? TIA!

dear sir. thanks for this tutorial. I successfully install phoenix 2006 last version. I just want to know how to change language pack in a phone like nokia 3250 (in fact software does not allow u to choose the language pack u need).for instance if the phone is produced without french language I don't know how to put the french language in it. I can do it with phones like 6680 6630 n70 etc but I can't do it with 3250 6280 etc. I thought may be if I choose to flash it using dead phone flashing option and choose a product code (different from the phone's one) that has the language I need it will make the affair. But I am afraid it will kill the phone if I use a different product code. I need ur help. thanks
