Couldn't find my DKU 5 cable from yr's ago, so went out and bought a cheap **** CA42 cable (non official). They told me this is the same cable as the DKU 5 anyway. Not sure that it is, but it works just fine

It just unlocked my 6680 and N70 without any major problems.

If you connect the phone up, hit read, and that bit's ok.

Hit make log, if the phone reboots and you get an error, clear that error, then wait till the phone has just booted and hit make log again.

This works for me.

if you can't get the DKU-5 or CA-42 cable to work, and u have some soldering skills, make this:

Serial Com port to Nokia Pop Port Cable (for BB5 unlock) - Tested

best of all...no drivers needed, just a PC/Laptop with a COM port!! (and some soldering skills)

Enjoy!

If you have ufs and com emulator then you can use 6680 RJ45 cable

otherwise you need to use dku5 usb cable. Some types work and some types dont

maybe phone is 4 locks already, that why it say invalid sim or even vodafone sim... maybe you'll wait for the update of the bb5 unlocker that can unlock 4 locks...

HI everyone...

I have tried that circuit and with a dke-2 usb cable it did not work. Ive also used a digital camera cable the same as dke-2 and it dd not work they have straight through wiring for all 4 pins...the camera cable works with nokia pcsuite and the transfer is slightly quicker though, but with this custom circuit and dijan bb5 unlocker I get the bad connection error...

tried even two different com port serial cables and still no luck...

I have a Nokia 6300 and trying to unlock it...
