bb5 unlocking code counter - GSM-Forum

Hi, I want to clarify a concept. In this forum some ppl says that unlock tries can be reseted by flashing or by full erase, other ppl say that it's impossible

I have tried all firmwares and lot of erase files, but without results, pm files not works....

... can we affirm that unlock code counter is not reseteable in bb5 platform?

sir you can't reset your counter
now you need direct unlock

use ur scroll button to see that br u can now only be unlocked trough direct unlock by the software held by the company br no chance to reset counter

1.flashing doesnt work
3.flashing+new pm doesnt work
4.installing new chip doesnt work
5.using new pm doesnt work
6.editing pm doesnt work

All tested by myself
no box in market would unlock
flashing is a pain the a**

plz stop wasting forum space

what is the meaning of this you mean there is no solution for BB5 yet but i heard some people are unlocking the 6630 but is serectly

Hi,

there is no solution for bb5 but there is a code solution however it is only for specific netwroks and if you try the codes wrong this blocks your chance of unlocking it when you do get the correct code so this post basically is asking if you have blocked out your chances cold you reset them??

Yeah thats the big problem ! If we can get codes and Codes counter is blocked then no use of Codes ! Any possibility to reset Blocked code counter ??

I have a difrent question, is there a way to check the code counter?? I mean how many times someone was trying to type a code??
