>duffuduck70 check f/w you are going to install, if it doesn't help, reinstall phoenix 2006. This is not the proffessional way of servicing cellphones, but the easy one
If u miss some software, contact me via personal msg or mail.

It also selects the proper Image and PPM. But before i press "Start" on my girlfriends N90 i wonder if there's a way to minimize the risks of a dead phone, a way of checking the Phoenix-installation from within Phoenix?

As a last resort i could always try with an older 6630 but i prefer to keep it alive too

i have same problem any way for solved it

Thank you for the tip, but the phone shows always the same error message.Probably I do something wrong. For example, after Installing everything in the right way, I connect the usb cable to the phone and computer while turning it on, but It can't install cable drivers. So after this I Install manually Usb Connectivity cable drivers from Nokia and It recognize it? Does it depends on that?? What Can I do if I Install the drivers in the wrong way???
Anyway, phenix shows at the bottom the actual firmware, so that means there is a link among t phone and computer!!! What Can I do???

No man, I did not start flashing procedure via USB with 6230i
I just wonder, how can this be made with this model?
With BB5 phones it's absolutely no problem. But for 6230i it asks for smartcard pin and other nonsenses..

I work with FPS8, FPS10, but I wish to find out the way to solve this matter via USB only.. please HELp me!!!

I updated an N80 (01) that I am using in Australia to firmware V 4.0623.0.41 (EMEA version) using this method. Everything worked very smoothly. Thanks very much for the post.
