Dead N8 - box or dongle?? - GSM-Forum

ok i got one N8 dead by changing UDA for another from other model, im thinking on geting a box or dongle to fix this problem, before flashing last orginal firmware it only shows "PHONE START-UP FAILED, CONTACT THE RETAILER"

1.- some said doing a FLASH ERASE and then loading a new RPL will fix that
2.- some said EEPROM is damaged and there is no solution for it

what do you think and what is my best option to fix it???

these are my options:

-CYCLONE RELOADED
-INFINITY BEST DONGLE

can both options do a flash erase???
do you think my phone has fix?

if u have complete certificate backup including simlock data (good & valid condition) then u can repair ur set with both software .
but seems phone certificates already messed up , that's why mobile shows contact retailer problem before flash .

but first need to check all certificates to confirm weather it's for software or hardware !!

so what dou you think about, EPROM broken? could it be??? if so, is there a solution?

infinty is best for this read full rpl , pm and flash file and erass the phone and flash it restore all backups and post result

you can read rol and pm with usb but about full flash no idea

Big Big Problem. i think RPL or PM are Messed-up that's Why your Handset is Contact Service if you have Good Back-up Full PM or even PM120 before you played your Handset.
yes it can be Fix but if You Don't Sad to say no Solution at the Moment

try to make a bekup on rpl an pm full and flash phone with phoenix and you wil seee....
