Finally Got My N70 Unlocked Using USB DKU-5 CAble - GSM-Forum

I have been having many problems unlocking my N70. Ive spent hours researching and trying but no luck because I keep getting the dreaded:

"Error: Bad Connection! (Check Fbus cable, turn off/on phone, restart program, etc..)!

I was using this cable:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...6280&rd=1&rd=1
With the drivers included on the CD.

However today I tried something slightly different. I connected my Phone to the cable whilst it was turned OFF. I started Dejans Software with the correct com configuration and then started my phone. As soon as the NOKIA logo came I pressed "Read Phone" and IT WORKED! I hope this helps!

Oh.... thought that was the way to do it (I have) i.e. reading phone during phone boot up and catching it at the right time.........
