I would like to flash my Nokia 5610 RM-359 with RM-242 firmware. Will this work? How can I go about doing so?

just flash with rm-359 fw all will be ok

I wanted to use the RM-242, because I have been unable to find the RM-359 generic english firmware. Where can I get the english generic RM-359?

Yea, I feel like punching Nokia in the face. I also need a 5610 RM-359 product code to debrand my 5610, I tried many RM-242 codes, but they don't work. Seems that the only RM-359 Nokia is the Tmobile one. If anyone has a solution please post it. I am either gonna brick this phone or debrand it.

and is desparately looking/searching for a compatible product code to debrand it. Can anyone help please ?

you can keep mcu and ppm files, then just change image (cnt) file to debrand your phone.

If you dont know what is it, Dont try to flash by this way.

Also if you will try flash with another CNT (image) you will got dead phone, I tried. Also you cant flash rm-359 with another rm-xxx this will kill your phone. I tried flash it with rm-358 - unsuccesfull.
