flashing with jaf "error reading phone inti data" - GSM-Forum

hi frns can ayn1 tell me please how to solve my problem
i want to flash my 7210c with jaf and when i start it gives eror the log is as follows

1.FIRST TIME ERROR:-

hey bro try 2 flash with usb cable ur prblm 100% solve if not then check dead usb then click flash now ur set is okay

have tryed that with my n96 and its the same problem have used both usb and fbus to flash and the error keeps comming back

but bro i am using usb and "dead usb " is ticked
but the error keeps continue after 100s of time
i flashed last time but i want to solve it
it comes with every phone i want to flash...3110c,7210c etc.

can any1 help me????

try to flash with latest JAF software and install latest pc suite & use high ver. flash file lastly use fully charged battery.if problem comes next time flash with fbus

Hi, dude. I've a solution that worked for me. If you encounter "Error booting phone" or "Error reading phone init data", just remove the USB Cable from your phone, wait for 10-15 seconds and again insert it (but don't close or change anything in the JAF interface). Click on FLASH again to continue flashing in the regular procedure. That's it, Finished...!

If you still face the same problem (Now you've to redo the flashing procedure by closing and restarting JAF, also follow above procedure if required),

Remove the battery & SIM card wait for one minute, repack both again and do the procedure for flashing.
(AND / OR)
Change / try another USB Port in the PC

Kindly note that I'm flashing the phone in "offline mode" (switched off condition), also I'm not responsible for any damages for your Phone. Read the procedure for flashing the phone in "Offline Mode" (A Dead or failed to start Phone) carefully, before attempting to flash your phone.
