Member: 334322 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi, If my understanding is correct of what u want .arc is pretty universal, learn to use google rather than ask questions before searching an answer WINZIP can deal with .arc taken from the WINZIP file support list:- ARC is an older format that also provides both compression and grouping. ARC files can be manipulated by several programs, including the original ARC, ARCE (also known as ARC-E), PKXARC, and PKUNPAK. WinZip supports all operations on ARC files except creating new ARCs and adding to existing ARCs but requires one of the above external programs. hope it helps, maybe u have winzip but dont have it associated to this file type. If your still having problems try google search for help as there is plenty out there Wez |

Member: 518759 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | You can try Noki to open the backup.arc file. Noki is a nokia pc suite backup file explorer (support .nbu, .nfb, .nfc, .cdb and backup.arc). There's also a complete guide on backup.arc recovery. Sorry for posting to this old thread. |
