How to fix Nokia 3600s - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I flashed my 3600s to a newer firmware (I shouldn't of bothered, as the phone was working fine and original imei), which made it come up with "contact service" so using guides I found online, I put back the original firmware and wrote the .RPL backup...

Then phone turns on and works again, but the IMEI changed to 12345610654321?

This is no good to me, how do I put back the original one.

I have Cyclone, JAF & MX key...

if u have rpl back up than restore it other wise u have to purchase rpl but server is closed at the moment

thanks, but I already said, restoring the .rpl makes the imei screw up. you have to select "plain imei" whatever that means, i assume thats what made it turn into the 12345610654321? format...

If i write it without clicking plain imei on jaf or cyclone, on jaf the program crashes, it says it cannot decode it. with Cyclone it says you must select plain imei and it fails, unless you do it.

With MXkey, it just says sim lock area is currupt and unable to write...
