| How to format my Nokia 5800 xpressmusic? via software? Hello can any one help me know how can i format my Nokia 5800 xpress music via any software because my keypad lock button has been broken and its locked and I cant unlock keypad and unable to use mobile please guide me what should I do? | there's no need to reformat it sir... just remove your battery and then poof! instant off! then if your 5800 is Auto Keyguard Enabled, just turn it off by going to Settings>Phone>Phone Management then Auto keyguard then set it off... |

| This exact problem happened to me too. Thankfully I work with electronics and all sorts so I managed to fix it. If you have no experience with electronic devices especially phones i suggest taking it to a mobile shop, it shouldn't take longer than 10 mins, i bet its just the lever that has come off the hook and now your slide lock is stuck or moving up and down doing nothing.  |
