normally, if bb5, with phone shutdown. On the program you press to read RPL, phone shutdown connect to usb. If it charges by usb it will auto start in dead mode ( its a mode to reprogram firmware and to do service on old nokias). If it wont charge by usb you have to press power (a quick press and release power) so it will start dead mode boot. After read RPL phone will stay in local mode. When this mode appears on screen you just reset or read security mode. | |
