Latest version of NSU checks for SIM card, any way to disable/prevent check?

I have a older version of the NSU (01.03.040.27060), that will check/flash the phone without a SIM card. Now, a new version that is released (forces me to update), requires a SIM card to continue. Can someone with good ollydbg experience remove the SIM card check on the new version, or prevent/spoof the version of the old one so it doesn't force me to download the new version?

I can send the older version (01.03.040.27060), if you are able to do what I want to do. Thanks
