N70 & BlueTooth problem - GSM-Forum

Hey guys and girls

I have a N70 for 2 weeks now and keep having BT probs.
It just cant get aothorised connection to anything.

i.e. I have TTM5 on it but everytime I want to use it
I have to go to BT menu to connect my BT GPS, it doesnt find it itseld
when I turn the BT GPS on like it should.

Anyone have a fix for it ?

Been surfing the inet about this prob and found
out the firmware is proberly the problem.
I have version V2.0539.1.2 19-10-05 RM-84
and theres a newer version 3.05 allready from this year.

Anyone know where to get it ?

HI,
you can only upgarde in Nokia Service Center or visit your
Mobileseller and ask 4 update!

sorry there is no (easy and cheap) way to do an update by your self

use 'UFS' to repair ur phone's bluetooth.

This is technical problem sorry, I cannot help you about this ..............keep smiles on your face you will definilty find some solution.......I will try to find out any solution.....

use ufs (tornado flasher):-

full flash the phone with the box set to factory settings and init simlocks checked.

this should make it work

erase flash ur phone...fullflash again sent pm...pmorig....

I have the Firmware version updated to the latest 3.05 version
Phone works alot better now, even the BT works better., not as
good as it should but works.

One small other problem, its with Tomtom.
When I use my tomtom and close it I have to restart the phone otherwise
tomtom doesnt find a GPS unit, any solution for this ?

Hi mate, am wondering about the "init simlocks" that you have mentioned???? is this can be done in N70? what version of DCTxBB5 are you using?

i flash full fone with upgrade files.
