N72 Insert sim card-offline mode - GSM-Forum

hi guys,
i got N72..its fresh and the problem is after inserting card than too it starts in OFFLINE mode...and if i select the general profile it says INSERT sim..please help me out,

hi. your phone seems to be locked by a different operator than the one that gave you the sim card...

did u think your sim card is good ....

if it is gone directly to offline mode it is H/w problem (with sim)
if it ask for start in offline mode yes or no (with sim) S/W problem
flash with new ver

Hardware problem 100%, rehot sim ic or make some schints. Solution is already posted in forum.

Remove sim ic and make jumpers

hi dude...i did removed the ic and put on the jumper's as per the image...it has started checking the sim but the problem is after sometime it comes insert sim card or registration failed...please help me out...

after sim jumper still insert sim means sim contacts unable to read now faulty is uem..........

No.
N73 dont have sim ic, tracks going in AVILMA ic.
