Member: 1503404 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | N73 question I haven't used the phone in about 2 years and I have forgotten the lock code so I need to reset it. I have tried various suggestions such as: 1) Power on while holding the call, * and #3 key and it will start to format the device. This doesn't work for me and it comes up asking for the lock code again. 2) Update the firmware. This doesn't work for me either because the usb port will not work before you enter the lock code (or it doesn't seem to). 3) Some people suggest you can do it with a FBUS cable but others say you can't and you need a special box. I have read a lot but unfortunately not really got any where with this problem. So the question is what am I missing? How do you reset the N73 when you don't know the lock code. Thanks in advance |

Member: 1503404 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | Thanks for the advice but the shops want £30 to flash it and it isn't worth it for a 5 year old phone. Not to worry I will buy my little girl a new PAYG handset and bin this old one, shame really because I remember it was a good bit of kit. |
