Member: 677356 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | N95 8GB - "Certificate error" when installing ebuddy I searched on google and found two solutions that didn't work. First was setting my date back... I tried 2005 and it didn't fix it. Second was going to Settings -> Applications -> App. manager and setting 'Software installation' to All and 'Online certificate check' to Off, which doesn't work either. I'm not looking into hacking my phone or using any risky or complicated methods, I just want to get my application installed. Does anyone know what I must do? Please explain in detail if possible, I'm not familiar with this part. Out of curiosity, are these certificates a way for Nokia or your phone provider to forcefully decide what applications you are allowed to install on your phone or not? I'm wondering since I can't see why this is a block rather then a warn. Thanks. |
