Member: 780777 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Network registration issue, please help I was using Nokia 6303 with Tata Docomo network happily till couple of days back. Couple of days back, my bro removed the back cover and took the memory card, and inserted it back and gave to me, He didn't removed the SIM Card. On next day morning started all the problem. I'll explain my problem below. 1) Making and Receiving calls would work for two minutes. 2) Will show "Error in connection" message afterwards when making calls 3) Callers would hear beep tones, won't receive any network response. 4) Making and Receiving calls would work again for two minutes if i reboot the mobile phone. 5) I'll see an unlock icon when receiving and making calls, thats it. 6) GPRS Internet working perfectly, but not SMS. 7) Another (Same Network) SIM Card works well in this mobile phone as well as same SIM card in another mobile phone ( Operator blames Mobile Phone, Vendor blames Carrier. Somehow, i managed to open a compliant in Carrier regarding this problem and they have scheduled it to be resolved on tomorrow afternoon. But i sincerely request your help in resolving this painful problem As both incoming and outgoing calls has been severely affected. |

Member: 780777 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have just verified the correctness of the IMEI using Nokia Online Warranty Checker. It is a proper Nokia feature phone purcchased in India only. Moreover if there is anything wrong in the IMEI then how can it work in the same network via different SIM card ? We haven't fiddled with the IMEI. Last edited by iamraddy; 03-31-2011 at 18:02. |

Member: 780777 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I have done Full Factory Reset. But it kept on showing "Restoring Settings" for more than 45 Minutes. The mobile phone didn't hung though, it was still responding. So, as per Nokia Care's advise, i removed battery and restarted the mobile phone. All previous data where gone, but the problem is still persists. Nokia Care suggested me to get a duplicate SIM. But there was no acceptable answer from their end on "How GPRS would work if SIM Card is broken ?" |

Member: 780777 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hello Everybody My compliant is still open in Tata Docomo I have reflashed the OS in my Nokia 6303 using Nokia PC-Suite. The reflashing process completed successfully without any issues. Even after that same problem continues What can do next ??? |
