Question Nokia 5800 XM locked in O2 (UK)

Hi,

I have that phone (locked in O2 UK). I think it is hardlocked. It start normal but it dosen't recognise any SIM not even an O2 SIM. It is any possibility to unlock that for use in another network.
If so what do I need?

if not recognise sim - your phone is with hardware problem!

SL2 with blocked counter - also says invalid sim card - but it's not able to enter code.

- go to service, pls!

Maybe I should explain better about SIM. After start up on the screen appear this message "SIM card registration failed" dosent matter which SIM I put (O2, Vodafone, Orange), other than that phone it is working normal. Can be fixed? I will apreciate if you put more info about the tools I can use and about procedure.

Put in the phone a simcard of the provider Virgin UK: if you get signal but you can't make any call the mobile is 100% barred.
