Yes.
Since no one team encrypt their work, all available erase file are for universal usage.
Even you can use it in phoenix.

If you confuse about flash size and addressing, you can use bb5erase unirap (posted by 911GT)

Correct Its For All Universal Rap Phones Which Used In Bb5 Phones.
This File Can Use With Any Tool Which Able To Flash Phone Via Fbus.

Oh and BTW which erase file can be used with each model of Nokia ? What I mean is for example with which model can I use for example this file BB5Erase_8MBrap.rar ?

OK now everything is clear. I found this file and I read whole thread. There was a guy who had tried to use this file with J.A.F. Unfortunately it hadn't worked.
I have to try it with HWK. Maybe there will be the same problem.

Sorry for renewing this thread - but I have a question which I couldn't find the answer to on this board.

Can I use UNIRAP Erase file using USB? Will I be able to flash it in DEAD-MODE over USB after that?
I believe this is what is necessary for downgrading bb5 phone, but, to be honest I would rather not brrick my phone...

I've read that in order to get your IMEI after full-erase you have to backup pm 308 field. Is that correct?

if phone is able to detect at rom mode you can flash it.
to check it just connect usb cable to phone and press 1 time for 1 sec power on u see computer will sound it means ur phone is in dead usb boot rom mode.

no offcourse not you can downgrade to any firmware without erasing.you have to use jaf or mt box or any supported tools backup sp area (308) and imei (area flash mode rpl need fbus cable) now tick on downgrade and flash it.

no wrong again.
read bb5 faq at sticky thread.

imei is in flash and they are certificate of bb5.
to restore it u must have valid rpl backup or repair recalculated bb5 rpl.

now u have question about what is 308 then?
its sp area = sim lock area.

please check bb5 faq for more details.

i erase my 5300 and full flash with jaf but the phone is dead....
cmt loader was :0000FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
does anyone can help me please? b4 i erase the phone is restricted and i flash it once b4 ,it stil can on at the moment.
i save cnt 308 backup and rpl back up before i erase the phone...but now my phone is dead..does anyone can help me?
