I called my carrier again this afternoon and spoke to someone with a bit more knowledge. I asked him to confirm the unlock code and then I asked him to confirm the IMEI number. It was not correct. It seems they gave me an incorrect unlock code, based on a phone and number I no longer have. He's is going to send me a new SIM chip and correct the account so I can get a proper unlock code. Thanks for a great tool. Without it I would have a useless phone.

Ok, I got the new SIM card Saturday. Called the carrier on Sunday and got the unlock code. They only gave me the first 15 digits so I had to try different last digits, but I finally got it to work. Now I have an unlocked Nokia my wife can use on our new carrier.

Hi all, I've tried to use this program to unlock my nokia 5230 and keep getting code error, the same message i got when i tried to enter it via the keypad. I paid for the code online. Is it possible i was given a wrong code. I don't mind paying someone on here if they want to check and see if they have a different code to the one i paid for.

Hello!
I've used the software "NOKIA BB5 CODE USB SENDER" by fr3nsis with a c2-05 (RM-724, last firmware 8.87). I send de correct 15 digit unlock code (provided by movistar Spain) and the logs say "code ok.... phone unlocked". But when I click again in "Read phone info", the phone is still locked. I've selected level 1 and ticked "Check for fbus".
I don't know why I can't unlock the phone this way.

If I try to "Read info", the software freezes and gives an error.

this ill support only all bb5 devices.., can i ask if there is also an application or tool for dct4 devices that encountered cannot undo restriction error? thanks in advance
