Member: 2333694 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Nokia E55 picture album move. If I copy pictures from my laptop via PC Suite, and using Drag and Drop, the pictures go to Media / Gallery / Images / All [default phone folder]. This is OK, but if I move the picture to another album, for instance "Favourites" the original is left in the default "All" folder, so I have two copies of the same picture. Also, I use the phone camera for work and sometimes I would like to keep pictures taken of our production machine modifications private but at the same time show some-one pictures of a different machine with no modifications. The problem is that all the pictures are visible in the default "All" folder and if the picture is deleted from the default "All" folder it is also deleted from the "Favourites" folder. I don't want to do this, but at the same time I do want to move some pictures from the openly visible default "All" folder. I have tried any of the folder options such as "Move", "Copy", "Send", "Mark", "Add to Album" and anything else under options, but it seems that it is not possible to move the pictures to a new folder in Images without the original image staying in the default "All" folder. Perhaps some-one might know of a program that I can download that will allow the move or transfer of images between folders on the phone without having to keep a second images in the default "All" folder, which anyone and everyone can see. Any replies would be appreciated as this is really annoying me. It means that I have to immediately download pictures to a laptop, or I have to show some-one one set of pictures first, and then return to the factory floor and take a second set of pictures and make sure to download them to a laptop and then delete them immediately. parkman |

Member: 2333694 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Hi, thanks for the link. The problem is, is that the link doesn't explain how to to move or copy pictures from the "All" default folder to another folder in the "Images" folder without leaving the original picture in the "All" folder or losing the picture when it is deleted from the "All" folder. I can do the move or copy transfer job, but I don't want to have two copies of the same picture. Also, when the picture is deleted from the "All" folder in "Images" it is also deleted from the folder to where the picture was moved or copied. This is the problem. I want to keep pictures in a new folder without being seen in the "All" folder when I have to show pictures of some machines to other people. I modify machines to do certain work, and I take pictures of the modifications to show certain bosses, and I don't want other people to be able to look at all the pictures when I go to show either the un-modified pictures or the modified pictures. parkman |

So therefore the instructions mean nothing to me. Ah well. I believe that it is not actually possible to move and hide pictures in different image directories without losing all the images of the moved pictures from the phone. So I am writing this off as not possible. parkman |
