nokia n72 sim register failed - GSM-Forum

hi
im not speak english well
i bought a n72 phone in another contry but while i insert sim in phone no work in my contry and write "SIM REGISTER FAILED"
SIM is 100% ok
phone not work in my network contry that is gsm 900Mhz
please help me..

maybe network lock problem.................... or chance band to automatic

might try other sim... it doesnt matter what band you are using in your country coz your phone will work on all network band.....

Yes,Try 2 use another sim or Check sim and sim base.

I THINK ITS ONLY NETWORK BLOCK PHONE ITS MEAN THAT ITS WAS A STOLEN PHONE AND BLOCK IN UR COUNTRY PLZ TEL WHICH COUNTRY FROM U IF U R IN PAKISTAN THE IS THE SITE WHERE U CAN CHECK THIS IS STOLEN REPORTED PHONE OR HARDWARE FAULT WITH IMEI http://128.121.21.25/$sitepreview/pta.gov.pk/imei/imei.asp

it should work on that bandwith in your country - and it would be odd if the locking worked internationally for theft - try contacting these guys they helped a friend of mine get his phone unlocked http://www.timtechs.com/unlocked-nok...one-prd73.html or even gsmliberty can help usually
