Hi all, i got a nokia n73 ME off a friend, and i unlocked it earlier, but the phone is barred by orange, because my friend didnt pay his contract. Just wondering how you can change the IMEI number, so i can use the phone with my 3 sim,

Matt you realise you will be in breach of the UK's Terrorism Act by performing such an action, and in theory are inviting others to assist in a criminal act?

Yea, i know its possible, and i know alot of people have done it, around 10% of imei numbers are not unique, and i bet hardly anyone has got caught, if you can help me change it, reply to me please,

I know its illegal.

Matt ,dude ,he is pulling your chain..
You cant change a bb5 imei atm,they have only just sussed unlocking after 3 yrs!!

That is unless you have alot of surface mount experiance(bout 4yrs)an a donor board

Ebay it m8,will work outside uk

It is possible, My mate got his done, The IMEI on the phone is completly different from the one under the battery, he got the phone for free, didnt pay the bill for contract, then changed imei, unlocked and got it on o2.
