Member: 1711291 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 |  Nokia N8 Flash Problem (error log inside) please help :( Could anyone please help me out, i have a nokia N8 (uk vodafone, Dark gray) that i got off of fle****(****) but it has a lock code/phone security code on it!!! so therefore i can NOT put it into ovi / usb mode!! Iv registered SFI and im on a laptop running, windows xp pro sp2. Iv tried everything to read the phone, Phoenix, JAF, NssPro, Nemises, Nokia Best tool, Nokia bb5 usb tool, infinity box. but all with no luck, iv tried flashing with them also but just gets stuck as cant picup phone. now im using SFI and iv managed to make some progress but am still getting stuck, SFI at-least see's the phone in flash mode and says dead mode flashable or something like that. Iv tried the unlock option but it says "Codes Unlock not possible with USB connection" i do not have enough money to buy the cables and boxes so will resort to flashing it, but..... (tried this in phoenix first, with no luck after 10 tryes. gets stuck at usb remove cable bit!) Iv got the anna firmware files from navifirm and named them and put in correct nokia/phoenix folder. Iv tried putting it into flash mode by holding down the button until it turns off and vibrates 3 times. then when i flash with SFI i wait for it to say turn on phone, so i press power button, i hear speakers pic up usb, and then SFI says Phone found. nokia stays in flash mode as side light stays off! but after a min laptop beeps again and SFI says this after a min: "Error loading CMT boot..." Log is bellow, iv spent weeks getting here as first nokia iv flashed!!! can anyone advise please?? Thank You (sorry about long post...) LOG Using USB Phone connection... Member: 631660 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 139 | search for latest firmware which is 25.8....even if you dont find wright language for you use phoenix new version and flash it... dont flash with older software (downgrade..or you`ll kill the phone`s imei or simlock) |
