Opreator which provide unlock code for BB5 phones - GSM-Forum

It would be nice that there is a list of operators which can provide unlock codes with payment. This could be a good sticky, if there are those who are interested. I know a few operators, so anyone who knows some other's, please add it to a list.

These operator's provide unlock code's with payment:

Croatia: VIPnet
France: Bouygues Telekom
France: Orange
UK: Vodafone

Agree with you... if you ask with "3" network they will charge double amount what original mobile price is.

I was looking on the other forums trying to find which operators provide unlock codes and I found that some guy unlocked his phone with operator code provided by T-mobile UK.

3 ITA provides codes, but you have to a pay a lot!!!

I requested my unlocking code from Vodafone UK, no prob at all, they said it would take about 10days to get the code!
Is it possible to flash phone and change product code before I get the network unlocking code, or I'd better wait: unlock and then change product code and flash?
I'm afraid that after changing product code and flashing, unlocking code would not work!!!??? Am I correct??

How to get codes from 3 ITA? Can you? My phone is 6280 and i buy it locked, via internet, i write a letter to 3 ITA, but they says: we provide code only to owner (who made contract with they).... so what about automatic unlock after 13 month? is true? who know?
