Possibility of unlocking 5230? - GSM-Forum

Hello everyone, I've been facing this problem for some days ... My 5230 is functioning just normal, all of the sudden it loses it's network and says "sim card registration failed" and i can't get it back working unless i put it on another phone to register the card and then get it back to 5230, but then after some time (it's random) it does the same, i tried getting different cfw, doing all kinds of things, no the sim is not faulty, works just fine in other phones, is there anyway to unlock my 5230 for free? or, is there anything i can do to "fix" this problem? i need urgent help, appreciated if someone knew how to help, the phone is not on warranty anymore so sending it to repair is not an option.

if your phone is locked when you inter sim it will ask you invalid sim or sim card restrickted, in your case i think your phone is blacklisted,

I think, you are a mobile user not a mobile technician.

So just contact your nearest mobile repairing shop and tell your prob. to the Technician, you can't solve your problem yourself.

Like i said, my phone is not locked, Sim works for a random time then stops working giving the error i said above, pradeep, yes i know that, thing is, they want me to pay 40€ to fix this "thing" , new phone costs 70€, so no, repairing is not an option, i'm just asking if is there someone with the same problem that found a temporary fix or anything that will help, because i can't afford a new phone right now and repairing for more than half the price of a new phone is not an option for me.. Thanks anyways for the answer

Hello,
Try to replace sim card with new one to be shure,maybe your sim card chip is damaged.
If same check sim card holder and pins,try to clean carefuly.
If same......you don't want to pay for repair so the choice is yours.
