Member: 70131 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | I get the impression that people are unable to reflash the same version using the hacked tools that we have available (Phoenix). This is just an idea, but have you forced a FULL format of the phone since flashing it, so that it goes back to total factory defaults? Z. |

Member: 349601 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I did that and after the flash my phone goes to factory default..... ive read in this forum too regarding some guy who flashed his N80 got the same problem like mine (purple screen), i tried looking for the thread but i couldnt find it..... The guy also asked wats wrong with it but he didnt get any reply for it,,, if im not wrong is in the N80 firmware thread.....I also tried hard format for my phone using (green, *, and 3) and it still doesnt work. Could it be the firmware? becuase my phone is asian pacific but back in june i flashed mine to v3 with the european firmware and everything worked nicely and this time i flashed mine with european version too and purple screen.... is it possible that i need to flash mine to v4 asian pacific? |

Member: 286672 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | most dual processor dead phones by usb flashing have a white screen-nothing can be done-flash/format/power off remove battery etc--these are revived using box/cable combo. same or higher version flashing is ok-downgrade will kill-revived as above-sometimes flash with erase file needed euro/emea/apac versions pretty much the same bar language files nokia software update not available 4 n80-once at v4 fota(firmware over the air i.e gprs update-not via pc/usb) is your phone still recognised by pc as n80? can u change modes when synced with phoenix? |

Member: 349601 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Yes my phone us recognized as N80, and i can change modes in phoenix except when i tried flashing it it says (cant change operating mode). But my phone works perfectly its just the screen that annoys me. Im thinking to wait for the nokia software update that supports n80 so it wont kill my phone |
